A Deeper Dive into the Life Wheel: Recovery & Healing-Based Sections, The Results, & Creating Goals

The Life Wheel is one of those tools that looks simple on the surface but can open up some powerful awareness once you actually sit with it. That’s why I created A Deeper Dive Into the Life Wheel Workbook.

If you read the deep dive Life Wheel post and found yourself thinking, “Wow… this actually made me stop and think,” you’re not alone.

The Life Wheel is one of those tools that looks simple on the surface but can open up some powerful awareness once you actually sit with it. That’s why I created A Deeper Dive Into the Life Wheel Workbook.

This workbook is designed to help you slow things down and move from insight into gentle action without overwhelm.

Why a Workbook?

Reading about the Life Wheel is helpful. Filling it out is where things really start to shift.

This workbook walks you through:

  • Choosing life areas that actually reflect your reality

  • Rating each section with honesty and compassion

  • Reflecting on what surprised you and why

  • Creating behavior-based goals that support recovery and healing

  • Using the Life Wheel as a flexible check-in tool over time

Nothing here is about perfection or fixing everything at once. It’s about noticing what’s asking for care right now.

Recovery and Healing Friendly by Design

If you’re in recovery or healing from trauma, you already know that burnout and overwhelm can sneak up fast. This workbook was created with that in mind.

You’re encouraged to:

  • Focus on one area at a time

  • Pace yourself instead of rushing change

  • Set goals that support stability rather than pressure

  • Revisit the tool as your needs evolve

Remember, low scores point to areas that need care and attention.

How to Use It

You can work through the workbook in one sitting or break it up over a few days. Some Bookenders like to revisit it monthly or during stressful seasons as a way to check in with themselves before things spiral.

There’s no right way to use it. There’s your way.

Ready to Go Deeper?

If the Life Wheel helped you see your life more clearly, this workbook helps you meet what you see with compassion and intention.

Move at your own pace. Be honest with yourself. And remember, growth doesn’t have to be rushed to be meaningful.
